Our only sadly extinct NOM Handcrafted animal, Eryn has carefully carved the Thylacine's graceful streamlined body and then added watercolours to represent its tan fur and distinctive black stripes.

Each NOM Handcrafted wooden animal, tree, and landscape toy is made from sustainably and ethically sourced hard maple wood right here in Australia.

The carnivorous Thylacine - more commonly known as the Tasmanian Tiger - was found on the Australian mainland as well as on Tasmania and New Guinea. The last known live Tassie Tiger was captured in 1930.

Being handcrafted, each of NOM Handcrafted's beautiful offerings is unique, with slightly different shaping, size, wood markings, grain, and knots showing through any dye or paint finishes, which themselves might vary slightly in colour or application.

Not suitable for children under the age of 3yo. Please do not submerge in water. Spotclean with a damp cloth. All materials and finishes used are child-safe, however they are not intended to be mouthed or wet. Please use under adult supervision. Please carefully inspect your toy before use.
