The Bumbu Toys Gingerbread House is such a beautiful toy, both at Christmastime and throughout the year. It features a gorgeously curved roof, two windows, a door that pops in and out, and a sweet little chimney. The Gingerbread House has been decorated with detailed handpainting: a snowy roof, an icicle motif, and greenery along the tops of the windows and door.

Being hand-finished, each of Bumbu's beautiful offerings is unique, with slightly different shaping, wood markings, rough spots, grain, and knots showing through any dye or paint finishes. Bumbu glues together smaller pieces of wood to form larger pieces that are then cut to shape. This technique leaves less timber wastage and may be evidenced by small join lines across the pieces. Please note Bumbu Toys are not varnished nor lacquered, leaving the timber with a beautiful textural feel.
