Bumbu Toys' Michael the Brave is an impressive figure, dressed in metallic silver armour, green pants, brown boots, and a black hat or helmet. He wields a metallic golden sword in one hand and a shield in the other. The shield has been handpainted in great detail: a red background with black and metallic gold markings. Michael wears a removable red fabric cape.

Our handsome Michael the Brave has a hole in each hand so that the sword and shield can be removed and positioned at will. He stands with legs apart (the gap is approximately 9mm wide and 4.5cm deep) so can be played with on his own or he slots perfectly onto the Bumbu Toys Steed Horse (sold separately). 

Michael the Brave was at various times the Prince of Wallachia, the Prince of Moldavia, and the de facto ruler of Transylvania. He is considered one of the greatest national heroes in Romania, as well as a symbol of national unity, as he brought all Romanians under one rule for the first time.

Each of Bumbu's beautiful offerings is unique, with slightly different shaping, wood markings, grain, and knots showing through any dye or paint finishes. Handpainted details are wonderfully unique from piece to piece and might not look identical to the stock pictures. Please note Bumbu Toys pieces are not varnished nor lacquered, leaving the timber with a beautiful textural feel.
